Verse 1: In a time so long ago There was an old man not many did know He didn't have much money to spend And he feared that his life was nearing its end. So, Pre-chorus: He spent his last little while Trying to give people a smile Although they hadn't returned the favor as it seems. Chorus: And so he will go back home And then take some time alone Give himself some time to feel at peace in the busy world he lives in. He'll take his guitar And play a song or two To bring back memories of when his life was new. Verse 2: He had played songs from the old days And improvised a bit as well It takes him back to when he was younger A time when things were swell. Pre-chorus: He spent his last little while Trying to give people a smile Although they hadn't returned the favor as it seems. Chorus: And so he will go back home And then take some time alone Give himself some time to feel at peace in the busy world he lives in. He'll take his guitar And play a song or two To bring back memories of when his life was new. Outro: His skin was white as a skeleton When he passed right where he sat And the very last note he played Was just one long high E-flat.

New World 04:32
Verse 1: Shattered streets full of cracks Parts of land full of dead grass Houses falling to the ground. Pre-chorus: Temperature's always too cold It's like this city's near death old I wish to be somewhere else. Chorus: This city's falling apart Like a bleeding heart. It's like a tornado Had just hit & whirled. I just want someone To take me away To another place and then say "Welcome to the new world." Verse 2: Would it be cold or really warm? Would I have a house or a dorm? It's hard to predict what utopia would be like. Pre-chorus: Temperature's always too cold It's like this city's near death old I wish to be somewhere else. Chorus: This city's falling apart Like a bleeding heart. It's like a tornado Had just hit & whirled. I just want someone To take me away To another place and then say "Welcome to the new world." Bridge: Welcome to the new world Welcome to the new world Welcome to the new world Welcome to the new world Outro: I live in a dystopia There's nothing else to say (Welcome to the New World) It's like all form of structure Has just run astray (Welcome to the New World) And I know that some places are worse But some places are better (Welcome to the New World) So there's no going back We must only push much harder (Welcome to the New World)

Verse: I've been through good times, and I've been through hell. I can't ensure that the rest will go well. But I can't let the bad times get in my way. What else can I say? Pre-chorus: There are things that have helped me reach for my goals But I must keep moving forward all the time. So I cannot say that I will know you forever And I honestly don't wonder why. Chorus: Cause this is my sendoff (yeah) Like a rocket's liftoff (yeah) A rocket that just flies through space until someday it runs out of fuel. And the rocket is myself (yeah) And the fuel is my lifespan (yeah) And I will keep reaching for my goals for as long as I can. Bridge: The voices Inside my head Tell me that my Dreams are not dead The voices are mine And so are the dreams And the results could either be better or worse than it seems. Chorus: Cause this is my sendoff (yeah) Like a rocket's liftoff (yeah) A rocket that just flies through space until someday it runs out of fuel. And the rocket is myself (yeah) And the fuel is my lifespan (yeah) And I will keep reaching for my goals for as long as I can.

about

Following the release of my first album "Diversity Unleashed", I was anxious to jump into production for another one. Initially, this new album was going to be titled "Polarize", & was intended to be created for the "RPM Challenge", where the goal is to create a full-length album within the month of February. My preceding album served as a "practice round" for this competition, & I wanted to try to top it with this album.

Not long into the month however, I received the opportunity to work on a few songs for some students who were working on some mini-films. These "few" tracks ended up turning into 30 songs between 5 small films. My focus ended up shifting to this ambitious project, which I did complete in time, & enough of them were done to complete a submission for RPM. However, I decided not to compile any tracks into an album for this purpose, as they differed greatly from my traditional music style, & weren't what I wanted to accomplish with this "Polarize" album.

In the coming months, I had been working creating some tracks for my still unreleased second album, as well as working improving a few tracks leftover from the aforementioned commission. At this point, I decided that this album should be compiled of some of the best tracks I created during that time period. The album's name was changed from "Polarize" to "Realm Zero" for reasons I will explain on a later date.

In the meantime, enjoy the 7 tracks that were officially released for this album. These tracks mark a sort of shift in style for my music, which can only be explained by listening to the album itself.
