Moving On 02:18
Verse 1: Moving on from the twisted pasts we've had as best we can. Standing up from the falls & sitting outs. There is still hope. Rising up from the lows that we have reached. Leave those behind. Focus on all the good that is ahead. Don't let your problems take you down. Chorus: (x2) So let's pick up the pieces regardless if we do it on our own, or if we need a little help. There's always a future. Don't let all of your past worries take you down.

Verse 1: Where are the times when every vacation didn't feel like a work-loaded obligation? Where are the days when dating didn't define your place in this confined population? Chorus: All our past days Drifting away At the expense that we get our head in the game All our past days Drifting away each day So, get your head in the game! Verse 2: Some days I will look back into the past Was I a weakling or a bully? It just doesn't last. Was there ever meaning to any single social cast? Chorus: All our past days Drifting away At the expense that we get our head in the game All our past days Drifting away each day So, get your head in the game!

New Wave 01:43
Let me introduce you to the new wave. Alot of abstract sounds, but that's a-ok. So I hope you like it cause it's here to stay. C'mon, let me introduce you to the new wave. The new generation of music. Compact in a sound so minimalistic. Let me introduce you to the new wave. Alot of abstract sounds, but that's a-ok. So I hope you like it cause it's here to stay. C'mon, let me introduce you to the new wave. The new generation of music.

Streetlights 01:46
Chorus: I see streetlights, they ain't bright enough. There's still cars crashing into walls. There's not a thing here miles around that can stop this fog. Calm & control have gone straight down the drain. There's not a soul with a hair of sane. Like a blackout, but it's all just grey. Verse: Another day comes, might be 'strongest yet. There's a fire that makes things a tad more lit. But that's just protesters burning buildings flat. There's been this conflict for quite a while. Between conservatives & the logical. But the bias hasn't run the capitol since '62. Chorus: I see streetlights, they ain't bright enough. There's still cars crashing into walls. There's not a thing here miles around that can stop this fog. Calm & control have gone straight down the drain. There's not a soul with a hair of sane. Like a blackout, but it's all just grey.
7.
Chorus: We are Riding Towards The Sun The fun has just begun And it will not end even after this song is sung. We've scored ourselves a win. I say to you with a grin. So, come on, great days are inviting us in. Verse: Life is full of ups & downs, So I need to take a little breather for a short while. When you achieve a personal goal, will you ride your pride, or somehow stoop down low? I ain't going low cause... Chorus: We are Riding Towards The Sun The fun has just begun And it will not end even after this song is sung. We've scored ourselves a win. I say to you with a grin. So, come on, great days are inviting us in.

about

This album sort of sets itself up to be an oddity in my catalog. This time around, rather than using iOS Garageband for production I switched my efforts over to FL Studio Mobile, meaning that I had access to an entirely different range of virtual instruments to work with this time around.

This album was by far the most difficult to produce. Due to the limited editing functionalities & compatible hardware in this mobile version of FL Studio, every instrument part was typed note by note, & every vocal track was raw, & quite rough.

There's not much more to be said about this album, really. Each individual track is quite interesting in its own right, but the album in itself sticks to the format of its predecessor, where only 7 of the best tracks created in that time period actually made the cut.

At this point, I began to tire of structuring my releases like normal albums, & I wanted to try something new. This "something new" would later be known as "Project 4", which departs into a new software that allows me to be much more creative with my music production. I then decided to conclude "Glass Escalators" with the "Riding Towards the Sun" track, & dive in to this new project quickly.

Overall, "Glass Escalators" provides a nice glimpse into some of my more experimental tracks, & makes for an interesting alternative to much of my other material.
